'The second opus from the Schadenfreude colon.
As the title suggests Schadenfreude are really twats. But don't let that put you off what is arguably the finest piece of work they have ever recorded on the 23rd of April. As one noted music commentator observed "if I listen to any more of that I'll throw up", a compelling reason to secure yourself a copy I think you'll agree.
In their quest to unify the dark ambient, extreme noise, & early eighties John Carpenter film music traditions of electronic music, Schadenfreude have produced pure micturate of the musical form. A strong backbone of layered analogue synth fortified with short-wave makes up the main body of the work, enveloped in a cocoon of ambient noise produced using ethnic instruments from around the world & noises produced using their own mouths & duvets played through effects. Guaranteed to leave you wanting to hear something else, Macro Incremental Quasi Ambient Variations is thirty nine minutes of sphincter expanding music, & bodes well for the future of this excremental electronic music combo'
